The mother, Wife, sister, daughter, friend, and photographer 

The mother - I am a mother of one great and wonderful son; we were blessed with him December 2005.  Let’s just say that we had no idea that such a little package could bring so much joy. I think that is one reason why I love to photograph newborns, to be able to capture that moment is really priceless. 

The Wife - I met my husband online back in 1998 moved to Virginia and we have been together from day one.  We married March 2003, it was the second best day in my life (first being the day he gave me a son).  I have a great husband he supports me in all my choices (even if he knows there not the best ones) but is also there to help me out and stand behind me.

The Daughter and Sister - I am from a large family I have 2 sisters and one brother, yes 4 not so big, but for a single mother it was a very large family.  I grew up in Federal Way, WA a city right outside Seattle. Loved everything about Washington State except the rain.  I am the oldest and my poor brother was the youngest, not sure how he survived in a house of 4 females.  He did and he is a great man these days. 

The Friend - I pride me self in my friendships, I have many friends that I have known for more the 10 years and we still talk like we saw each other yesterday.  I say that because with the move I made back in 1998 I have 2 friends that are really close to my heart that still live in Washington.  We talk as much as we can and keep each other posted on life’s challenges and changes. Along with the move came some great new friends.

The Photographer - I have gotten back behind the camera after about a 10 year break.  Photography is much different now, easier though.  I love shooting in digital and the instant results.  I love that I can let the client see the raw photo before even leaving them that day. Photography is my passion I could photograph all day!
